Production process
– During winter months we apply the pruning of the trees, which contributes to the good formation, the ventilation and the lighting of the new fruits.
– The thinning of the fruits in the apple tree takes place in the spring and aims to increase the size of the fruits, to eliminate their non-uniformity and to improve their quality.
– Red apples are harvested at the appropriate stage of ripeness.
We follow modern production methods, faithfully applying the instructions of our experienced agronomists, protecting the environment and the consumer.
Maintenance
Red apple has very good shelf life without altering its quality and organoleptic characteristics. Our facilities house controlled atmosphere refrigeration chambers, where TeGaia apples are stored for up to 8 months after harvest.
